WHAT: Color pencil illustration of Louis Vuitton Union Jack Keepall Bandoulière 45 handbag, a rare, limited-edition capsule.
COOL FACT: Created in 2018 to celebrate Harry and Megan’s marriage.
IN THE BEGINNING: The bag blends France’s most iconic luxury house with England’s most recognizable symbol, which makes it a walking contradiction in the best way: aristocracy and rebellion, tailoring and punk, luxury with errands to run.
ARTIST’S THOUGHTS: I’m drawn to objects that tell a story. I drew it because it holds what I recognize: identity in motion, beauty under pressure, elegance with experience.
Twiggy, 1967
WHO: Twiggy was the face of 1967—her lashes, cropped hair, and mod look defined an era of youth, cultural upheaval and reinvention.
COOL FACT: In 2019 she was named a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) for her services to fashion, the arts, and charity.
IN THE BEGINNING: On a whim, I entered a Beatles art and music contest in my home town… and then I dove into a 1960-British-Mod-Jackson Pollak kind of organized chaos.
ARTIST’S THOUGHTS: For me, Twiggy’s impact and layered identity is a powerful metaphor for reinvention, self-definition, and breaking through inherited antiquated molds.
